A pastor in Indiana, US, believes that three celestial events that will occur this Friday are signs that the Biblical doomsday is near and we should therefore prepare ourselves accordingly.

Pastor Paul Begley believes the there celestial events this weekend will be signs of the end of time

Space scientists have said that a comet, a lunar eclipse and a snow moon will all occur this Friday night and early Saturday morning and that they will all be visible from earth.

While people are excited about this once-in-a-lifetime series of events, Pastor Paul Begley has words of caution—we are in the last days and we should therefore give our lives to Jesus Christ before time runs out.

A lunar eclipse will be part of the triple celestial events Pastor Paul says are signs of the end times

Pastor Begley's belief is part of the broader belief among many Christian fundamentalists that the world will end in 2017.

Among the reasons they advance for this belief are that 2017 will mark 6,000 years since the Biblical creation of the earth and 70 years since the UN established the state of Israel.
